Spekko Wholegrain Long Grain Parboiled Brown Rice has the distinctive nutty flavour and chewy texture of a premium brown rice. It cooks up fluffy and with separate grains. Brown rice is left in its natural form with the bran and germ layers intact.

This quality brown rice retains its full nutritional value, and promises nutritious and flavourful dishes for more meal occasions.

 It is naturally low in total fat, low in saturated fat and cholesterol free. This rice is also gluten free.

Ingredients:

250 ml (1 cup) Brown Long Grain Rice
Salt to taste (optional)

Stove top
1000 ml (4 cups) cold water for cooking

Microwave
1000 ml (4 cups boiling water)

Stove top
Place Spekko Rice, water and salt (optional), in a saucepan and bring to boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 35-40 minutes until all the water is absorbed.

Microwave 900 W
Place Spekko Rice, water and salt (optional), in a microwave dish,
Microwave uncovered of high (100%) for 35-40 minutes.
Allow to stand for 5 minutes
